I've been enjoying your blog (especially your homilies) for some time, but I was genuinely puzzled today when my screen said, "Calvin got it right". You have to understand that I have an extremely old-fahioned, very slow internet connection, and only the words came up, and I thought you meant Calvin, of John Calvin-Calvinism fame! It was only when the picture came up that Irealised which Calvin you meant. m. Evfrosinia, an Orthodox nunfrom France
We Orthodox have a slightly different understanding of purgatory. And anyway, I think that putting a smile on the face of a very overworked nun puts you in the clear/ Thanks! :)
