    "16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper. Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway. There are 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to be 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars."

    Well, sure, but he's not passing 31,000 cars, because it's BUMPER TO BUMPER!

  2. Father, I have a question, not related to this post but maybe you can write about it sometime.

    Where do Dominicans go when they get old? I'm sure the friars care for each other as best they can, but at some point everyone needs more specialized help. Does the order have a nursing home or something?

    I have a soft spot in my heart for retired priests so I'm curious how we can help them in their old age.

    The scandal isn't stopping me from starting RCIA this autumn. The church is a sign of contradiction, and when i saw who spoke against her, I became more, not less sympathetic towards her.
