    I'm here with the laptop (on my lap) reading about excommunication, and a game show is in on the tube. A contestant won a trip.

    My wife asked where did we go on our honeymoon (31 years ago). I answered, "Alcatraz." In the dog house again . . .

    Excommunication as should everything the Church does has as its object the salvation of souls. The excommunicate, and all Catholics that learn about the public, mortal sin that the Chruch is trying to get the excomm to turn away from.
