Coffee Cup Browsing

Taxpayer funded abortion on-demand, same-sex "marriage," and God deleted.  Dems are off to a great start!

Oh, and we belong to the Gov't.  Had no idea.

An atheist schism?  Well, fundamentalists are known for splitting off into factions.

B.O.'s definition of sin.  Wow.  You can't get more Baby Boomer than that.

Just how Pro-Life is Mitt?

Self-anointed "Messiah" dies.   Or did he. . .?  Hmmmmmm. . .

Thanks for the laff. The Monty Python video in the very clever story about atheists was a hoot. And right on.

This clip is another one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFBOQzSk14c

    1. HA! I'd forgotten about that scene. It's a perfect send up of leftist identity politics.

Interesting similarities twixt the Moonies and the Mormons: a prophet who has to fix Jesus' failure to either complete or maintain his mission, a set of extrabiblical books that have status as scripture, a dislike of the image of the cross, and most specially, with God fully two-gendered, marriage, procreation and family becomes the central focus of the religion.

    1. Mormonism is a perfect example of 19th c American religious eclecticism. The last half of the 19c in the US was a foreshadowing of the last half of the 20th. Loony social experimentation, attempts at utopian communes, hippes, etc.

  3. The interview with Barack Obama about his faith is jaw-dropping. He gives no indication that he believes in heaven or hell, in the divinity of Jesus Christ or in the Trinity. He has a laughable definition of "sin." Having read this interview, it is readily apparent his Christianity is a "beard," for whatever his true religion or moral philosophy is. This may come as no surprise to some, but to read his answers to these questions strips away any doubt that he professes to be a Christian for political gain, not out of conviction.
