Tea Mug Browsing

Yes!  Because going on strike creates money!  No doubt after today's "worker action" gov't budgets all over the E.U. will magically balance.  Geez.  Someone put the adults back in charge, please.

Catholic dinosaurs in the U.K. are thwarted in their ridiculous attempts to foist a Spirit of Vatican II liturgical agenda onto the Holy Father's visit.

OK then. . .Time Magazine is no longer simply hinting at its barely disguised antisemitism.

The Eternal Shrug of Rome. . .wow, she nails it perfectly!  Trust me on this:  orthodox Catholics do not want the Vatican to be in any city other than Rome and we want no one else to be running things but the Italians.  God is in charge and the Italians in the Vatican seem to understand this.

Ouch!  Priest slaps young man for desecrating the Blessed Sacrament.  Not sure I could do that, but I have often wanted to smack some people for wearing halter tops and hunting gear to Mass.

On burning the Koran in FL. . .remember:  just because you have the right to do something doesn't make doing it right.

The definition of insanity:  doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  This is what happens when you don't or won't understand history.  I repeat:  someone please put the adults back in charge!

The definition of irony:  school named after Pope Gore I built on toxic soil.

Finally!  Universities are teaching something our citizen-students can use:  Zombies 101.  I hope there is a lab on the use and care of machetes.

To put adults back in charge presupposes a sufficent population of adults relative to oversized adolescents. I'm not so sure we have that in the western world anymore.

    I agree on corporal punishment.

I went to Catholic school until early 5th grade. Once - that was all I needed - I had to go up front and get the ruler across the knuckles. That did it for me. Never again and I carry that lesson 50+ years later.

Sorry for the youths that don't understand their acts have consequences. Their "lessons" are much harsher than (it didn't even hurt) getting a shot to awaken some sense.

    Rant begins:

Re: Gen P and his fear about burning the Qran.

Not to worry, Gen P. The cowards target unarmed civilians (like on 9/11) not armed men who shoot back.

He needs to be more concentrated on killing tangos than coddling ignorant lowlifes.

His profession involves death and destruction, the rest is superfluous.

Maybe that will bring out into the open the cowardly murderers so our brave troops can can make them good muslims.

    Rant over.

  3. That "man" who was slapped is reported as being unrepentant. Evidently he wasn't smacked hard enough.

The Koran is being burnt by a church that boasts about 50 regular members. It's a media event that should have never made it off the back pages of the local fishwrap. The MSM has ginned up this sort of controversy before (remember the supposed flushing of a Koran down the toilet in Gitmo?). What a bunch of irresponsible twits.

Innocent folk will be harmed because of the unwarranted attention being paid to these numbskulls. In the meantime those responsible for the coverage will wash their hands of all responsibility and keep on keeping on.

    Phooey!
