As a priest and a Dominican friar, I would encourage all American Catholics to take a moment and publicly repudiate the recent decision of our president, Barak Hussein Obama, to spend federal tax dollars to pay for women in foreign countries to kill their unwanted children.
By authorizing the expenditure of tax dollars, he is indirectly implicating all American tax payers in the murder of unborn children all over the world.
If you oppose "abortion rights," then repudiating this action publicly ensures that you are not materially cooperative in this man's mortal sin. If you voted for him knowing that he is an abortion supporter, then now's your chance to repent.
Having been down the road of "pro-choice" ideology myself for many, many years, I can tell you without flinching: there's nothing there. Literally, nothing. Darkness. Death. Emptiness. Once you come to believe that murder is OK, nothing else seems quite so bad.
You do not want to get stained with Obama's darkened conscience. Repudiate his actions now and pray for him!
Leave a comment and I will add your repudiation to my prayer intentions for Mass tomorrow here in the convent in Rome!
NB. Only comments repudiating Obama's actions will be posted. Pro-aborts/pro-pills, go spew your evil somewhere else.
Unsigned comments will be deleted. Permission is given to re-post or reprint with attribution for non-commercial use only.
As a Secular Franciscan and Catholic I repudiate any public law and promoters of such laws which promote the culture of death in the world today, especially the president's action to use tax money to perform abortions in foreign lands.
ReplyDeleteI pray for the conversion of these promoters in particular the president.
I pray that God will bless this country with a spirit of conversion so that all hearts will promote His will.
Obama, I resist you to your face. And I will fight your evil agenda with EVERY means God gives me. Count on it!
ReplyDeleteLeave the babies alone, you foul beast!
I now and forever repudiate any action of any person who would continue the crime of murdering unborn babies. I have committed myself to pray daily for the conversion of Barack Obama and other politicians who protect and encourage this evil practice.
ReplyDeleteI do repudiate President Obama's actions and others he has promised and do pray for his conversion.
ReplyDeleteMary, Queen of the Universe, Pray For US.
I so repudiate President Obama's decisions, past, present, and future, with regard to the facilitation of abortion, directly or indirectly.
ReplyDeleteI pray for him and especially for the so-called Catholic politicians and advisors who are enabling this perversion of "women's rights."
Thank you! Oremus pro invicem.
I too repudiate Obama and his agenda of increased support for the evil of abortion in this land.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am not a Catholic, I am an admirer of the Catholic church and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. I join with you in prayers for Obamas full conversion. And that God will place the correct advisors in the presidents path.
Our family says to you: "Non serviam!"
ReplyDeleteI, too, repudiate these executive decisions that will cause more babies to be murdered around the world. Mother Teresa said that the fruit of abortion is nuclear war, and I pray to God that it does not come to that!
ReplyDeleteMy family (all six of us, including one child of God in my womb), repudiate any action of the President or any other leader that promotes the Culture of Death, be it abortion, euthanasia, embryonic research, or anything else out of the pits of hell.
ReplyDeleteMay God change the hearts of all who promote evil! Amen.
I repudiate all decisions of the United States to support or promote any form of abortion, contraception or other ideologies opposed to the gift of life that God has given us. I repudiate the decision of our current leader, Barack Obama to rescind the Mexico City policy and spread the poison of the culture of death abroad. I commit to pray for him and his conversion.
ReplyDeleteI also repudiate the anti-life acts of the administration.
ReplyDeleteLord, soften the hearts of President Obama and all our leaders to defend life.
Folks, if you are ever at a loss of how to help the pro-life cause, one of the most simple and effective things to do is to donate diapers to a shelter for pregnant mothers and children. They can be pricey and are always sorely needed.
I, also, repudiate this president's stand on abortion and that my tax dollars will be funding murder of children. I pray daily for O'bama's conversion to becoming pro-life and true Christianity.
ReplyDeleteML
As a Catholic, a mother, and a human being, how DARE we go into other countries and help mothers kill their babies?
ReplyDeleteMay God have mercy on him, and may the power of the Holy Spirit change his heart.
And from a completely secular standpoint - aren't we in the biggest economic crisis of modern times? Is there NOTHING domestically we could spend the money on, like job training? Why are we frittering away money helping other countries "reproduction" (or, rather, lack thereof) when so many publicly funded programs are being cut at home?
As a Catholic and a human being I repudiate Obama and his administration's support and facilitation of the so-called "right" to kill an innocent child. And I pray for him and all abortion supporters that their hearts be turned from that evil.
ReplyDeleteI openly repudiate the acts of the Obama administration against the right to life, especially those acts endorse and promote abortion and stem cell research.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do to the least of these, you do unto Christ. Do not murder Christ in the womb. Do not sacrifice Christ for your convenience.

ReplyDeleteI repudiate any act of our government that allows, encourages, or supports the evil of abortion, including the recent actions of our new President. I pray for him, and all of those in our country who are supporting abortion. I pray for the rest of us, that we would bravely, and lovingly oppose evil and promote the good.
ReplyDeleteI am a non-Catholic Christian and I abhor the legalized murder of the innocent unborn. Especially the use of public tax dollars to cooperate with this evil.
ReplyDeleteI pray for a conversion of heart in this matter of our president, and my brothers and sisters in Christ who somehow support this fundamental evil.
I repudiate the pro-abortion actions of President Obama and all pro-abortion politicians. Especially those who define themselves as 'Catholic' and spread lies about our Faith.
ReplyDeleteI will ask St. Paul to pray for the conversion of those who believe in the 'right' to murder the most innocent of God's creations.
Thank you, Father, for this post.
I repudiate the president's stance on abortion and all he does to support it. I pray for his conversion and the conversion of all who think along the lines he does about life issues.
ReplyDeleteToday we had the annual march for life in Austin, the first one that I took part in. Gov. Perry gave the main speech, followed by testimonies of adoptive parents and mothers who chose to give their children for adoption, choosing to give the gift of life to others instead of the loss of life.
ReplyDeleteNow, I kid you not, but the abortion supporters on the side-lines wore mostly black, dark shades and some had their faces covered. Why the shame to hide their faces when no one was accusing them? Or was it?
May Our Lady of Guadalupe pray for them.
Our family repudiates Obama's evil decision(s) to fund overseas abortions. We will never accept any policy, or law by him or his administration that allows the will full destruction of innocent human life. NEVER. In no form whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteAs a repentent and healed post abortive woman I now and will always repudiate the president's laws using our tax dollars to harm and kill our children and their mothers. I and my daughter in heaven will pray for him.
ReplyDeleteI repudiate Obama's policies fostering abortion and other manifestations of the Culture of Death. I will continue saying a rosary daily for a change of heart and direction by the President.
ReplyDeleteAs a Catholic, a Lay Dominican, and a free citizen of the United States, I repudiate the pro-abortion position, policies, and actions of President Barack Obama and any other civil leader who holds them.
ReplyDeleteI especially repudiate the use of U.S. tax monies to perpetuate crimes against the unborn and other innocent and vulnerable persons here and abroad at a time when honest U.S. taxpayers must work harder than ever just to provide for ourselves and those who depend on us.
I pledge to pray, fast, and do penance for the conversion of Pres. Obama and other pro-abortion civil leaders, and of those who put them in power.
Heather Barrett
I also repudiate this action, and have written him a letter in protest.
ReplyDeleteI pray that President Obama's heart be open to the grace to see abortion for what it is -- the vehicle of genocide for the African-American race. It is truly their modern-day slavery, but even worse because the oppression comes from within; the abortion licence 'allows' them to not only enslave but murder their own ... and dare to call it freedom!!
ReplyDeleteIf joy in Hell were possible, Margaret Sanger et al racist/eugenicists would be 'rejoicing'!
Lord have mercy on our country.
I repudiate the Evil One of Death.
ReplyDeleteMay our beloved country be spared the divine curses his policies will bring us.
I repudiate all of Obama actions against the weak, the unborn and those surviving abortions. I pray that all pro-aborts (pro-choice) awaken to the law written in their hearts and repent.
ReplyDeleteI repudiate the president's anti-life policies and decisions. Life is a gift of God; it is not for us to decide that some lives are not worth living.
ReplyDeleteI repudiate Obama's legislation regarding abortion.
ReplyDeleteTo your Mass I bring as my intention, concern for the vast population of the unborn. They are, each child, here with us, present, even now, life incarnate, in the wombs of their mothers, being crafted to live and grow among us. Mary protected the life of the unborn Jesus. Each of today's unborn, too, has a commission, a life's work, and Jesus waits with us for their arrival. I pray that none are torn from their mothers and killed. I pray that we, individually and collectively, protect in prayer and in action and in legislation, each life and each life's work conceived - which are the first gifts of God given to us and then entrusted to us. They are waiting for that, these children, as is Jesus, their Lord.
Extreme as it may be, I pray that Obama's abortion legislation is reversed, now, as I write even, that abortion will be outlawed and that, in the meantime, any prerogative to kill in this way is rejected.
I'm siding with and praying for the unborn.
ReplyDeleteSt. Gerard Majella, pray for those unhopefully expecting mothers!
I, too, repudiate our president for spending my taxes on facilitating abortions in other countries. May God have mercy on us all and may the Virgin Mary protect us.
ReplyDeleteI and my family stand up against such vileness.
ReplyDeleteWhile praying for God to soften Obama's heart, that he may have a conversion experience along the same lines of Jacob and Saul and many others.
As an American citizen, Catholic and Secular Franciscan, I too, repudiate President Barak Hussein Obama's executive order rescinding the Mexico City Policy prohibiting all non-governmental organizations(NGOs) that receive federal funding from performing or promoting services in other countries, and any other actions that promote the killing of the innocent unborn babies.
ReplyDeleteI repudiate Obama and Biden's empty slogan of "reducing abortions". While reducing the instances of abortions is a good thing, what is unspoken but abundantly clear in their actions, is that they believe that abortion is at worst, morally neutral, thus inevitably perpetuating it. As Evangelium Vitae instructs us, laws permitting abortion are illegitimate laws and we are duty bound to object. I pray for their conversion.
ReplyDeleteI, Matthew Gardocki, a faithful citizen of the United States, hereby publicly repudiate any and all actions, policies or laws which violate the dignity of the human person from conception until natural death. This repudiation extends to the current President Obama and his administration and all who support the funding, practice or legalization of abortion both here and abroad.
ReplyDeleteI REPUDIATE OBAMA'S PRO-ABORTION DECISIONS - LORD HELP US!
ReplyDeletePlease count me and my nine children and husband amongst those who abhore with all our hearts, the willful complicit encouragement of the killing of innocents.
ReplyDeleteThe White House has a web email address on it's web site, leave a comment, let him know you disagree morally and object to having what we must give, be used for something that should not happen.
We need to be as fiery as Saint Paul in our opposition to this great evil. The seduction is so easy. We don't see them. We won't see the women scarred by this. We won't even know how many take place. It is a sad day for our Country.
Today we collected signatures after Mass to send cards to our senators and representatives to vote against FOCA.
ReplyDeleteAs a poster sign stated at the pro-life march yesterday, "what the FOCA?" :-)
As a Catholic and an American patriot...I repudiate Obama's endorsement of killing babies in foreign lands at American taxpayer expense. I am sure that our founding fathers would be horrified to know that our government is taking away the lives of unborn children. Our Lady of Guadalupe, PRAY FOR US!
ReplyDeleteWhat time is the Mass you wrote of, Father? Should we still add our intentions?
ReplyDeleteAnon,
ReplyDeleteThe Mass is eternal...you can add your intentions at any time!
I, Peter Ahern, repudiate the encouragement of abortion and pray for the conversion of all involved. May God have mercy on them and us.
ReplyDeleteFather, so you know... I referred to this post at my site on 1/24; and also in a comment to the 1/24 post at unbornwordoftheday. com.

As a Catholic, a Lay Dominican, and a voting citizen of the United States, I repudiate the pro-abortion position, policies, and actions of President Barack Obama and his administration. I pray for his conversion and for the defeat of the culture of death in all of its appearances.
ReplyDeleteI, pseudonym Irenaeus, repudiate his policies, and pray his eyes be opened or shut forever.
ReplyDeleteI repudiate the callous indifference and blindness that leads to the decision to fund abortions of the poor. I reject the idea that helping those in poverty destroy their own children constitutes philanthropy or humanitarian aid.
ReplyDeleteLove, not violence and the shedding of the blood of children, is the only true response to fear or selfisness. Abortion does not reduce poverty: it just kills the children of the poor.
I repudiate all acts contrary to life, particularly abortion. May God have mercy on all who participate, knowingly and unknowingly, in such acts, and open their eyes to the truth of God's love for all.
ReplyDeleteAs a Catholic, as a father, as a husband, as a son, as an ex-military member, and as an American citizen, I, Marc Porter, repudiate Obama's abortion policy.
ReplyDeletePlease add me Father to the Mass intention.
God save us.
I, Shane Coombs, repudiate any and all actions of President Obama or any elected officials, and any and all laws of the United States of America, the state of Massachusetts, my town, or any other entity with which I am in any way involved, which sin against God and life in any way, and I pledge to work against these actions and laws in prayer, public and private act, and word, and I pledge to offer prayer and sacrifice for the victims of these laws, as well as for those guilty of them or complacent in them.
ReplyDeleteI completely repudiate Obama's abortion policy and this action specifically.
ReplyDeleteFather, please add me to the Mass intention.
Please also pray for my own ongoing conversion and the demons that continue to revisit me and to which I succomb.
I thank you.
Patrick
I too repudiate this servant of Moloch.
ReplyDeleteMy family and I repudiate Barack Obama and his regime to kill babies...everywhere and anywhere. To invade the safest/most protected place an innocent infant could be & turn it into a battleground is the most heinous & evil thing that has occurred in this country.
ReplyDeletePlease pray for my 12 year old daughter, who has to listen to her father & his wife give her the vile pro-choice opinion when she visits him!
I repudiate Obama's decision completely, and pray for his own and his administration's conversion.
ReplyDeletePatrick:
ReplyDelete"In the name of Jesus, I bind you spirit of (name it ie: spirit of fornication/of pride/of jealousy, etc.) and send you to the foot of the Cross to be judged by the Lord." Say it. The relief is faster than lightning if it be of the devil. Can also just say "Precious Blood wash over me." I promise you prayers, Patrick. I hope you come back and read this.
Repudiate BO in this act so contrary to life and the light of Christ.
ReplyDeleteAdding fuel to the fire, here is our self proclaimed CINO (Catholic in name only) Speaker on ABC Sunday;
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi boldly defended a move to add birth control funding to the new economic "stimulus" package, claiming "contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government."
Pelosi, the mother of 5 children and 6 grandchildren, who once said, "Nothing in my life will ever, ever compare to being a mom," seemed to imply babies are somehow a burden on the treasury.
The revelation came during an exchange Sunday morning on ABC's THIS WEEK.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?
PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?
PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.
Repudiated - and both emailed AND called the White House to make it personal - clearly stated - Obama's actions are a travesty of justice and a grave moral evil.
ReplyDeleteHey Fr. Philip, I'm doing a spin off on this post because of Speaker Pelosi's comments about putting contraception in an economic stimulus package. Catholics, in particular Catholic mothers, should call her on this because it is outrageous.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone interested, feel free to add your comments here:

TAKE ACTION!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://lovinglifeprolife.blogspot.com/2009/01/obama-lifts-ban-will-use-your-tax.html
On behalf of my husband, children and family, I too repudiate the President's decisions past, present and future regarding the facilitation of abortion, directly or indirectly.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Father for providing this opportunity for repudiation.
I also repudiate the President's decisions past, present and future regarding abortion.
ReplyDeleteI feel Obama's actions are a grave moral evil and I can hardly stand to look at him or Nancy Pelosi.
Vicki
I repudiate the evil decisions of our current President, be they past, present or future. Specifically in this instance, I repudiate his awful reversal of the Mexico City Policy, and all other affronts to life which are likely forthcoming. I will pray for the conversion of Obama and his administration.
ReplyDeleteI do not agree with the actions of this administration which promote the ability of a woman to legally kill the baby she is carrying in her womb. (aka Abortion) I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ will help us with solutions to the many problems contributing to the practice of women killing the babies in their wombs and that hearts and minds may be converted in a life affirming way to reduce and ultimately eliminate this practice.
ReplyDeleteAs a 2005 convert to the Catholic Church (from Lutheranism) and an ex-patriate American living in Canada, I repudiate President Obama's actions to facilitate access to abortion and contraception, which is objectively a grave evil. Furthermore, I regret that I did not vote in the 2008 election that saw Obama come to power. I continue to pray for his conversion and for the protection of all innocent human life from conception until natural death.
ReplyDeletePaul (Edmonton, AB)
I repudiate the anti-life policy of Barack Obama and in particular his action in rescinding the Mexico City Policy and thus forcing us to fund the export of abortion across the world.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying. Lord, have mercy on us!
I repudiate the agenda of the Obama administration's abortion policies, and their determined agenda to foist it upon the wallets and conciences of the American taxpayer. In his actions Barak Obama has displayed all the qualities of a smooth talking con man.
ReplyDeleteI completely and utterly reject the notion that abortion is anything but murder. I reject the Newspeak mentality of the administration that by making abortion more readily available it will decrease its use. Were I not catholic, I would STILL repudiate his position as encouraging and aiding murder.
ReplyDeleteRandy
I reject our President's abortion policies and encourage him, in the name of Christ, to repent and do penance.
ReplyDeleteMay Our Lady, Refuge of Sinners, obtain the grace of a pentinent heart for him.
I repudiate the actions of Obama. I pray for the conversion of Obama and all who voted for him, as well as all who support or participate in any way in the evil slaughter of our children.
ReplyDeleteOur Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us.
I repudiate our president's policies and actions on abortion and pray for his conversion.
ReplyDeleteSunny Wilson repudiates all politicians who promote, allow, or encourage the murder of little babies in the mother's womb. She prays that their eyes will be opened to the gross crimes they are committing. (I did this at the request of my mother, Sunny.)
ReplyDeleteI repudiate wholly and unequivocally any and all pro-abortion action taken by President Obama, and any action undermining the good efforts of those who fight for life for the unborn.
ReplyDeleteIn the same way I repudiate any non-action by those American bishops and priests who have neglected their duty of publicly rebuking pro-abort politicians in their dioceses, and who should have refused them Communion until they have repented.
I repudiate the actions of Obama. I pray for the conversion of him and his family. May God enlighten him with the truth.
ReplyDeleteJackie S.
I repudiate any and all of these actions taken by the President. I repudiate any and all attempts made on innocent human life in the womb and, as a head of household, I repudiate this on behalf of my non-bloggy wife and children.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I'm repudiating up a storm.
AMDG,
-J.
P.S. May the gentle rays of Divine Grace touch the most hardened and darkened hearts, and thus convert souls to the Lord.
I repudiate this action which will help to harm women and children around the world, and I pray for the conversion of those deceived by pro-choice arguments-- may the Lord help us to build a more just and peaceful society!
ReplyDeleteI, as a Catholic, an Oblate of St. Benedict, and a registered voter, hereby repudiate this tragic action of Mr. Barack H. Obama.
ReplyDeleteI pray for the conversion of Mr. Obama and the millions of catholics who voted for him despite his vocal allegence to abortion.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I, Amado Cruz, publicly repudiate President Obama's pro-abortion policy decisions. I would like to add this quote from Raymond Arroyo
ReplyDelete"In his inaugural address President Obama said: "We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things."
Who knew that this included setting aside children themselves..."
Our Lady said that in the end her Immaculate Heart would triumph. We should invoke her intercession for the conversion of Obama, Biden and all the politicians and judges that have been deceived by the serpent's lies.
I, along with my husband and unborn child, strongly repudiate this decision, and any future pro-abortion decisions made by Obama and his administration!
ReplyDelete-Christine Ann Harmon
I repudiate what Obama has done. We have no right to do anything to encourage or aid another human into abortion or birth control means. My soul has no desire to be any part of agreeing to this and it is wrong to use our people's funds in this way.
ReplyDeleteI will pray for the conversion to God Almighty for Obama and any other politicians regarding these situations.
I do repudiate President Obama's actions and others he has promised and do pray for his conversion.
ReplyDeleteI repudiate our government's recent reversal of the Mexico City policy.
ReplyDeleteLord, have mercy on us and on our nation!
Monika C LaVergne
I repudiate abortion and frankly as democrat, I repudiate my party. Unless we (don’t worry… ..I don’t include you Father) democrats realize all life is sacred and equal our whole social/economic justice platform is vacant.
ReplyDeleteI’m a physician assistant student. Please pray for me that I have the courage and strength to advocate, represent and defend life per the gospel of life and the Hippocratic Oath in my future practice. My biggest worry is the inevitable loss of physician conscience clauses. If and when this happens I hope I’m strong enough when put to the test!
chris
