Copies of the Missal are available, what about copies of your lessons? Are you parsing line by line?
ReplyDeleteYes, we will go thru the text -- including the rubrics -- line by line. It's the best way to understand the theology of the Eucharist. I don't think the pastor of St A's is planning on recording the classes, but I can ask.
DeleteFather,
DeleteRecordings or even copies of your notes would be a great resource. I'm on the parish council and worship commission at my parish, and we've been considering a "Mass tutorial" series like this. Please drop me a line if you might be able to make your materials available. Thanks for all your work.
Right in my neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteDo I need a restraining order?
DeleteYou should be inviting me! Pope Francis wants to draw the faithful in!
DeleteThe truly faithful don't need to be drawn in, right? It's the gnostics, dissenters, "make stuff up that we want to believe" crowd that needs to be drawn in. . .but these classes are catechetical not evangelical.
DeleteThis looks like a great series. Will the recording be available for those of us who don't live within driving distance of New Orleans?
ReplyDeletePat, I will try to remember to bring my recorder and post the talks on the blog. My talks are always interactive -- questions, discussions, etc. -- so these won't be lectures as such.
