"A [preacher] who does not love art, poetry, music and nature can be dangerous. Blindness and deafness toward the beautiful are not incidental; they are necessarily reflected in his [preaching]." — BXVI
I read it and really liked it - had a lot to say to me, and made me think - but then when I listened to it tonight, all I could think was "when is this going to be done?"...then I read it again, liked it again. So for me, it was much better to read than to hear. Don't know why.
Huh. When I first wrote/preached this one back in 2006, I didn't like it at all. It got good reviews, so, as usual, I just thought: you ain't the best critic of your own work, bozo. This time preaching it, I thought it was better preached than read. It's all in the rhythm, yup.
