EST?
ReplyDeleteNo, sorry. . .Central Time.
DeleteNow I can see some of the regional differences which people who live part year in the South have told me about - regarding priestly interpretation of certain postures. It's probably bad that I found myself giggling at some points during the Mass this morning . . . . and none of y'all wear albs? Chasuble directly over habit? I could just see Drew running up to me before Mass - "He isn't going to wear an alb!!"
ReplyDeleteTell Fr. Mike: "Thank you!"
I don't wear an alb b/c I sweat enough as it is. Most of us don't wear them b/c we think they are unnecessary given the habit. However, strictly speaking, we should be wearing them. Over the years, many OP's have come to see the habit as a liturgical vestment rather than "street clothes." This is a mistake.
DeleteGood to find live streaming and the archive. If I could only work out the Italian equivalent of Central time!

ReplyDeleteSet your computer clock! You should be able to set four or five different time zones. When I was in Rome, I had US Central, London, and Rome time set.
DeleteTry this. If you want, you can set up your own here.
DeleteGeeks Unite! :-)
DeleteBy the way, whe do we get to see you live, Fr...?
DeleteThat's really useful thanks!
