Coffee Bowl Browsing (Remembering the '00's Edition)

Apologies for the sparse posting over the last few days. . .around 11.2o p.m. New Year's Eve, lightening knocked our internet connection out.  It wasn't restored until 11 a.m. New Year's Day.  Then last night around 7.15 we were knocked off-line again.  Connection restored about an hour ago.

Anyway. . .on with Coffee Bowl Browsing!

The 100 Most Iconic Internet Vids of the '00's.

100 Best Movies. . .how many have you seen?

10 Best Debut Novels. . .I've read only three of them.

50 Best Albums of the Decade. . .I'm not a music fan, so I'll just take their word for it.

10 Most corrupt politicians from Judicial Watch

  1. ookay, the THE PRESIDENT is on the list of 10 most corrupt politicians of the last decade........

there's just something soo, so, so, so LBJ about that.....

  2. Thanks Father Powell for the links.
I have read only one of the novels. Right now I am reading Michael O'Brien's novels. I found them on a link you posted a few weeks back. May I suggest Cutting For Stone? My husband, who reads at least three books every week, thought it was one of the best novels he has ever read.
As for the movies, I have viewed a few of them. My favorites for the decade..ones that made a lasting impression on me..1) Amen 2) The Ninth Day and 3) Water. The first two will make you proud to be a member of the Holy Mother Church.
If you do not weep at the end of Water, you have a heart of stone.
As for the politicians, it might have been easier to list the ones that are not corrupt!

No worries, that list is essentially a candidate for the blog Stuff White People Like
