I just love your posts! They are the first thing I read when I get on the computer. I especially love today's survey. Thank you for taking the time to keep us up on spiritual, political, humor, and just plain common sense.
Father, apparently the Vatican has congradulated Obama on receiving the Noble Peace Prize:

I am not heartened at all by this praise of Obama from the Vatican. This sends double messages to the Faithful. And as long as we have double messages like this coming from the heirarchy of the Church, then we will have apostate Catholic politicians like Pelosi, Leahy, Kerry, Biden and all the rest.
Somewhere along the line we have to have clarity of vision, and I don't see that yet (no pun intended).
Ioannes, the Vatican has to work at both the temporal and spiritual level. No one in the Vatican is fooled by Barry's charm. They have to play at a game to keep in the game. The faithful are well-advised to wise up and not take everything that comes out of the Vatican as Revealed Truth.
