Some people (you know who you are!) won't accept "God said NO" as an answer to why their prayers weren't answered.Fr. In exasperation, I said to God, "If you want them to stay here, I need help."

An anonymous donor made a contribution and our kids were given a part. It doesn't mean we don't have to keep paying, but that donation helped our family vastly and will allow us to make it the rest of the way through this year.
After that, just one more year of overlap...Cathy D.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842286.post-83069583183246090322012-05-09T12:23:10.649-05:002012-05-09T12:23:10.649-05:00I don't understand why God saying NO is not sa...I don't understand why God saying NO is not satisfying.

I teach my children, that God is like a parent. He answers every prayer, just sometimes He says: Yes; sometimes He says: Let me see; and sometimes, no matter how many pleases with sugar and a cherry on top you offer, He says: NO!

It is His prerogative. He is God. Why do people think of God to be d jinn whose only purpose is to grant wishes?

Granted He has yet to say: Yes! to me winning the lottery, but hey I accept His: Let's see.Puff the Magic Dragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12933610369789734303noreply@blogger.com
