If I could travel back to 1999 and tell my 35 y.o. self where I am theologically and spiritually at 48, my 35 y.o. self would probably die of shock. I look forward to your comments.Fr. Happy birthday, albeit a few days ...Father Philip,

Happy birthday, albeit a few days late. I just discovered your blog today, thanks to a comment you posted on MCJ. My wife and I are registered parishioners at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Seattle, WA, (Western Dominican Province) where we yesterday celebrated the second anniversary (by the liturgical calendar) of our reception into the Catholic Church. As a 66 year old, I could comment that it doesn't necessarily get (physically) better with age, but I can also attest that, had someone told me at 25 or 30 that I would feel this good approaching 67 years of age, I would have questioned that person's grasp of reality.

All of that said, I look forward to reading your sermons, et alii, and will endeavor to provide such feedback as I hope you will find constructive.

Pax et bonum,
Keith TöpferMartial Artisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11679584221923893460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842286.post-49544343243262334772012-05-28T07:57:57.234-05:002012-05-28T07:57:57.234-05:00Happy Birthday, Fr.
