Even if it somehow were over 338, you know that you're doing what you need to do. You can only be reponsible for the effort. Having read these posts about being fat, ...Father,

Having read these posts about being fat, I just would like to encourage you. Don't let the number on the scale determine how you feel. Maybe the number will never change. Maybe it'll keep going down. Whatever the case may be, just eat sensibly, exercise and get plenty of rest. You know the drill: do the footwork and leave the results to God.

PS, I used to be a marathon runner, then a combination of things resulted in my not being able to run and my weight went back up. Now I am walking two to four miles a day and avoiding McDonald's and Burger King on most days (I'm not perfect). My weight is getting back to being something reasonable, but the days of being 165 lbs at 4 % body fat are long over. I'll have to be satisfied with a higher weight and body fat content. Maybe God doesn't want me to be an obsessive runner any longer. The Big Book of AA (which Overeaters Anonymous uses and yes, I went to that program) says, "Progress, not perfection."Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05269978181247175900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842286.post-42720993613271821342012-01-30T12:08:17.555-06:002012-01-30T12:08:17.555-06:00Please include regular exercise, even longish walk...Please include regular exercise, even longish walks, in this attempt. Putting all the burden on food, and its attendant pleasures, would seem to me an unfair burden on nature, human and animal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
