Namely, a truly evil initiative requiring non-cooperation is the replacement of the letters BC and AD that qualify dates. Some scholars advocate using BCE (Before Christian Era, but if you challenge them they'll say the "C" stands for "Common") with CE (Common Era). The Church's preoccupation for 2000 years has been to claim the world for Christ. Let's not have CHRISTIANS supporting efforts to remove His Holy Name from the universal attention it receives simply because the years everywhere are named according to their relationship to Christ's presence on earth. To cooperate with the BCE-CE initiative is to surrender countless public acknowledgements of Christ's presence.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842286.post-21975521786428517382010-03-04T02:41:06.215-06:002010-03-04T02:41:06.215-06:00A pedant writes: The Expiatory Church of the Holy ...A pedant writes: The Expiatory Church of the Holy Family in Barcelona (Catalan: Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada FamÃlia Spanish: Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia) is not a cathedral.Crux Fidelishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03949811845963570447noreply@blogger.com
