Archdiocese condemns Black Mass. . .Satanists wail about intolerance. Probably their plan all along.

LCWR responds to CDF. Summary: "Process. Dialogue. Procedure. Process. More process. More dialogue. We're right. You're wrong. We ain't changing nothing."

Quick answers from the CCC on false gods, divination, etc.

Time for Cardinal Kasper to head to a monastery for some prayer and fasting.

Harry Reid (D) is "deliver[ing] speeches that sound like they ought to be coming from a man wearing a bathrobe in front of a liquor store in Cleveland." LOL!

When Card Kasper states that not all are called to live the Christian life heroically, to the fullest, he reeks of clericalism and then contradicts the universal call to holiness, affirmed by VII, to sanctity of all the people of God. Holiness is not only for the ordained or the consecrated; all are called to find and live it in their station in life, including the divorced.

    1. I thought that was a strange comment for him to make as well. Surely he's read Lumen Gentium.

He might very well have read that, but he couldn't possibly take it at its word. Instead, he might take Lumen Gentium at its "spirit", or whatever fits his prejudices.

  2. I'm not sure what to make of the LCWR statement. Mostly I get Captain Renault style insincerity -- but then the thought strikes, "What if they really believe what they're saying?"

    1. I don't think that the LCWR crowd is evil. I think that they honestly believe their rhetoric. They see themselves as standing outside the Church, or maybe even above it. The Vatican Boys have let them run wild for so long that being called on their nonsense must seem arbitrary and possibly even cruel. My guess is that they can't quite process what the Vatican is saying b/c its using language they've never heard.
