WHAT!?  Holder's DOJ lied to someone?!

The Olympics. . .yawn.

More outrageous outrage-hypocrisy on the whole Chick-fil-A nonsense.

Teachers' union helps to protect child molesters.  Imagine the headlines if this were about the Church!

Episcopal bishop spends a lot of pixels trying to justify her job.  The Zeitgeist is an adulterous harlot and there is no future in wedding her.

  1. I really appreciated that the article of the Episcopal bishop was so irenic in tone. That's awesome no matter who it comes from.

    However... this paragraph she wrote...

"Contrary to the conservative critique, it isn’t what we’ve changed that is weakening our congregations, but rather what we’ve been unwilling to change. For all our liberal theology and progressive politics, we’ve remained rather stodgy in worship, wedded to unwieldy structures, and resistant to growth. When I ask young people what keeps them from attending church, the answer, predictably, is that it’s boring. And they’re right! But we’re committed to changing that...."

WOW, is that ever incorrect. Unless you're a master showman like Joel Osteen, you're not going to entertain kids at church better than they could entertain themselves at home. You'll just lose the folks who want church for something other than entertainment.

    Like, for example, Jimmy Fallon:

"I tried to go back. When I was out in L.A. and I was kind of struggling for a bit. I went to church for a while, but it’s kind of, it’s gotten gigantic now for me. It’s like too… There’s a band. There’s a band there now, and you got to, you have to hold hands with people through the whole Mass now, and I don’t like doing that. You know, I mean, it used to be the shaking hands piece was the only time you touched each other... there’s Frisbees being thrown, there’s beach balls going around, people waving lighters, and I go, ‘This is too much for me.’ I want the old way. I want to hang out with the, you know, with the nuns, you know, that was my favorite type of Mass, and the grotto, and just like straight up, just Mass Mass."
