On tranqs, butter, and the MRI

With a horse tranquilizer, a tub of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!," some prayer, some cussing, and an extra-large shoe horn, I made it into and out of the MRI machine this afternoon.  It wasn't so bad.

Waiting for the results. . .Thanks for all the prayers!

  1. My poor father is very hunched over, due to osteoporosis. When he was put in the MRI they kept telling him relax, relax.
There was just no way he could lay flat.

  2. You have my sympathy. I've managed PET/CT scans, but really don't know what I'd do if they suggested I have an MRI. I get claustrophobia just thinking about it. God bless you and help you overcome whatever health problems are bothering you.

    Father,

As a fellow of similarly ample frame I am now on day 3 of Weight Watchers. Suffice to say, I have no trouble believing it's not butter. Yet I will continue to forge ahead and offer my meager sufferings up in thanksgiving for your continued vocation. I invite you to join me in this crusade for the benefit of your health and so we may continue to enjoy your blog for a very long time.

Oh, sorry that I missed all the happenings, Fr.

But I'll pray for good results, though.
