Ten cases of Conservative Hypocrisy (really, just nine cases:  David Cameron is no conservative)

Father, what is your opinion of Malachi Martin and his observations on The New World Order?

On the recycled credit cards...A WEDDING RING?!! You have to be kidding me. The picture was neat, and neater if they shredded and got rid of debt (unlikely) but most of the rest was very unappealing.

On the polyphasic sleep, I thought that is what happened when you get older...you need naps or more naps...There are day when I have to have a nap though.

  3. David "Call me Dave" Cameron is more than just a Conservative MP; he is the leader of the Conservative Party and likely to become the next Prime Minister of the UK. He is a conservative, incidentally; he has just disguised his conservatism in liberal clothing. Once he's elected the rabid dogs of Thatcherism will be unleashed.

  4. Since you're a fan of litanies -- my morning tea browsing uncovered this marvelous one: Litany of Humility

  5. Crux. RE: Cameron...I've seen/read nothing to indicate that he is only a slightly more conservative version of GB.

  6. The Postmodern Gibberish was so funny I almost choked on my laughter! BTW I'm glad I wrote my term papers before the advent of Internet. They had to be original, 'cause there weren't too many other options.

  7. Father: Ha! Most people in this part of the world reckon GB is a conservative! He's certainly no socialist.

  8. sorry but the sleep thing doesn't work I've been trying to do that for the past 2 years!! sooner or later I burn out and must sleep days away to catch up. (I don't do the 3 hour sleep thing on purpose but that's what happens when you shift from nights to days to nights to days.)

ended up having to get a sleeping pill from my doctor so I could sleep MORE than 4 hours at atime!!

Interesting how all the examples of Liberal Hypocracy are pretty current, whereas to get ten examples from the right, they had to look back to the 80s, 70s, even the 40s!

No news on Malachi Martin? I find him interesting, too. If you have thoughts, please share!

    Thanks!

  11. Christina, I've only read a little of MM. I wasn't impressed. I'm a Conspiracy Theory Fanboy, but I don't actually believe the stuff. MM strikes me as a bit out there.
