Obama is not the Anti-Christ. . .he's Christ himself

Nah. Not scary at all. Not even a little bit. What's the big deal?

Oh, and here's the Obamessiah's Mary Magdalen

Father, I've been following politics since I was a teenager -- ever since JFK's presidency, in fact -- and I can tell you, I've never seen anything like this. Here in Canada, we had "Trudeau-mania" in the sixties, but no one ever depicted either Pierre Trudeau or John F. Kennedy in any way approaching this. Am I just an old fogey, or is this, like, total blasphemy???? Obama is just another politician -- not a statesman -- and he's only been in office 100 days. By this time, JFK had the Bay of Pigs disaster to contend with. Trudeau's moment of truth came with the FLQ crisis in Quebec in 1970. Yes, Obama has the economic downturn and Iraq, situations which had their roots years ago. However, I've seen no improvement in either case despite his efforts. The situation is bigger than he is, and no amount of Messianic hype will have any effect on it. The only solution is hard work, common sense, and prayer -- and I don't see any of that coming from politicians anywhere -- just a lot of spin and hot air.

    Regards from Canada,
    Patricia Gonzalez

  2. Patricia,

Since the Left doesn't believe in God, they have to invent their gods.

Obama is just such an invention.

  3. DAMN! I just left another site showing this garbage. I'll ask the same question that I did there, since he is often portrayed in a "messianic" mode (with the sun making a halo around his head being an example) does the old bugaboo about subliminal suggestion bear any weight?

I know that sort of thing is routinely disproven in other areas but it comes to mind.

If I'm just being paranoid pass me my tinfoil hat and I'll shut up.

  4. You guys are being kind. No one is inventing anything. Here's the situation: Squishy spirituality that ebbs and flows with the whims of the culture is fine. Atheism is fine. Genuine Christianity is hated. This is plain mockery from those who believe in nothing but nihilism and their sure hope that Christianity has had its day. Obama is their "savior" as long as he can give them what they want: money, sexual license, feel-good spiritualism, and charismatic pep-talks. When he can't deliver anymore, they'll turn on him too, or his successor.

  5. KC,

Ah yes, the fickle adorers of fickle idols...

    Sub,

I don't think there's anything subliminal about this stuff at all. "Subliminal" means "below the threshold of conscious perception." This idolatry is in our faces.

  6. (Sigh) But I look so good in tinfoil! The hat would match my shoes.

All kidding aside, I've been betting on this guy being a one term President. That didn't factor in the idol worship.
